"Most major Nigerian newspapers on Monday ,July 12, put out the same frontpage headline in protest against proposed controversial press and media Bills from the Federal Government of Nigeria menat to allegedly infringe on press rights and freedom.

Papers like The Sun, Punch, Vanguard, The Guardian, Tribune splashed out the same "information Blackout" headline."

The former Kwara South Senator, Dr. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim ,in the company of friends /team members and aides paid a condolence visit to the ilorin residence of the former Special Adviser to the immediate past Governor of Kwara State on Media and Strategy ,Prince Olatunji Moronfoye, who lost his father-in-law, Cheif James Ishola Adeniyi ,recently. Senator Rafiu described the death of a loved one as painful and then prayed for the soul of the deceased and asked God almighty to condole he entire family members and give them the strength to bear this collosal loss.
