The Good ,The Bad And The Betrayal Of The Last General Election In The Kwara People's Democratic Party (PDP) Writes Michael Adeniyi

When the People's Democratic Party (PDP) lost the last general election in 2019, which brought about the emergence of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara State as led by his Excellency Governor AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman.

Let me quickly re-interate that the last general election wasn't as a result of popularity contest between the two most popular party in Kwara State but was a revolutionary move by the electorate against the person of the President of The Eight Assembly,Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki which was fueled by propaganda as majority now believes.

Kwarans are already comparing and contrasting the administeration of the previous government against the present, and the administeration of former senate president of the eight assembly, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki when he was the governor of kwara state against the present administeration.

Expectations of Kwara Civil Servants centers around clearing salary backlogs, implementation of 30k minimum wage, promotion implementation, and proper restructuring of the KWSUBEB and Council staffs' welfarism package amongst other things.

Immediately after the last general election,i can boldly say that the little few that remained with the party (PDP) loyally includes a great number of ABS media as lead by Baba Idris.

There was wide wide reaction in the media about restructuring the ABS lead dynasty popular known as the Saraki dynasty having been an age-long dynasty passed down to ABS by the deceaced but never forgotten 'Oloye' ,Dr. Olusola Saraki.

The restructuring been talked about then was majorly about sievering the unloyal priviledged few from the loyal members who betrayed the party in the last general election and replacing them in positions of representation by proven loyal members.

The reconciliatory move which the party PDP made having Great Kay,Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode (ABS Media) as part of is a great move by the party ,i only wish that leadership is encouraged to be more grassroot friendly with respect to good leadership traits.

We know the tale of the last general election and the priviledged greedy few in our wards that diverted funds ,thus aggravating situation to the disadvantage of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The dynasty 'may' rise again,i believe as the administeration of the present Kwara State are doing exceedingly great beyond expectations and the civil servants are greatly overwhelmed.

Good leadership would have been enforced should the #Endsars protest happens close to the coming elections.

Politics is local, therefore to solve it's problems have to be locally based.

Bad leadership starts from bad representations even from our wards and other position of representation closest to the electorates..

May Kwara get great again!!!!.
