Fishermen in Samanja town in Koko Besse Local Government Area of Kebbi State,trapped and killed a Hippopotamus allegedly wrecking havoc on farmlands in the area.
Samanja town is situated on the banks of River Nier in Kebbi State.

Paula dos Santos Escudero Alvarez, 32, gave birth to Bernardo on July 4, 2021 , in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. The mum had been using birth control, called an intrauterine device (IUD), for three years. But she still fell pregnant, which is extremely rare, as the device tends to work for between five and ten years.
