Saraki Is Extremely Devasted Over The Rape And Killing Of Job Seeker,Iniobong Umoren

 

The immediate past Senate President of  the  Eight Assembly, Dr.Abubakar Bukola Saraki expresses his devastation over the rape and killing of young job seeker,Iniobong Umoren from Akwa Ibom State in a recent tweet on his official twitter handle.

In his words :

"I've been following the #FindHinyHumoren hashtag closely over the past couple of days and i am extremely devasted that young Miss Iniobong Umoren, who simply set out to find a job, was raped and murdered.

"At this particularly difficult time, my prayers are with her family and all her friends who kept this topic on the front burner over the last couple of days. I hope the perpetrators of this despicable act are swiftly tried and sentenced."

Ini had gone online on April 27, to appeal for job and unfortunately she fell into the hands of rapists  and murderers.

Report have it that the suspected rapists and killers of the Akwa Ibom job seeker,Iniobong Umeren have been arrested .

In a statement released by the spoke person of the police command,Odiko Mcdon said that the state police command has arrested Uduak Akpan, a 20year old man for kidnapping, raping and killing of young Miss Iniobong Umoren, the victim.

"the command received a repot of the deceased's dissappearance on April 30 and deployed a team of officers from it's anti-kidnapping squad who arrested the suspect" - Odiko

Mcdon Odiko stated that Akpan (the suspect) confessed to kidnapping the victim.

Odion stated that men of the anti-kidnapping squad arrested the perpetrator who confessed to luring his victim to his house in the guise of giving her a job, but ended up sexually and physically assaulting her which led to her death.

To cover his devilish act,the suspect dragged and buried her remains in a shallow grave in his father's compound. 

The deceased as since been exhumed and deposited at UUTH (University of Uyo Teaching Hospital) for autopsy.

The suspect had confessed to have told his local government chairman od his atrocity before escaping to Calabar and was never at anytime handed over to the police by anyone.
