President Muhammadu Buhari's Official Driver Dies On Tuesday At The State House Clininc

Master Warrant Officer Sa' idu Afaka,who is the official driver of President Muhammadu Buhari gave up the ghost at the State House Clinic in Abuja on Tuesday,6 April after battling a prolonged illness.

A statement released by The Presidential Aide ,Garba Sheu on behalf  of His Excellency :

" President Buhari extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of late Afaka.The President also commiserate with the Government and people of Kaduna State and described the late Afaka as an honest,capable and reliable person who handled his job with utmost care and responsibility.

The President recalled that in 2016 the soldier,while on pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia,picked up a bag containing a large amount of foreign currencies and turned it over to the National Hajj Commission,an  action which earned him prfaises from the Saudi and Nigerian Authorities.

Sheu added that The President prayed that the Almighty Allah 'bless the soul of the departed jwith an elevated place in heaven'"
