"Kaduna State Government has banned gas retail shops in residential and high-risk areas with immediate effect.

By this directive,all retail gas refill shops operating in the said areas are shut down" - @Governor kaduna

"Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai,Governor of Kaduna State announced the decision after inspecting the scene of a fatal gas explosion that occurre on Sunday.

Similarly,ministries and agencies concerned with public safety have also been directed to review high risk businesses in residential areas and come up with a relocation plan with immediate effect
