REVAMPING KWSUBEB A BIG NECESSITY FOR THE GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION IN KWARA STATE AND AN ASSURANCE FOR THE FUTURE OF YOUNG KWARANS.

We all know how important the foundation of a building is - if the foundation is rock solid whatever is erected upon it will have chances of withstanding any odd and still be looking like an owesome edifice, compared to a house built on weak or feeble foundation,it will not stand tall for long.

The Genesis of every young kwarans hangs in the elementary classes, basically basic 1- 9,this is where the kids begin to learn literacy and numeracy and possibly unconsciously develop attributes that might define their entire future going through the learning processes where they learn various skills cutting across PHE,arts & crafts, home economics, introductory technology,IT etc

A child spends more time learning in school either directly from their teachers or indirectly from classmates, school mates or peers in the course of interacting with one another, to learning at home where parents often times are pre-occupied with the need to provide for their family, which usually occupies most of their productive time and render them tired when they retire back home and it is an unarguable fact that kids learn better and faster from interacting with one another.

A greater percentage of a child's future can be determined in primary school by what they have been taught and skill(s) acquired in the 9 year period covering basic 1-9.

The primary schools needs to be improved by government policies and laws towards provision of adequate teaching and learning materials covering every subjects taught.

Professionalism should be put into consideration while recruiting and posting teachers to the field where they carry out their duties - each primary school should have a religious teacher,a PHE teacher,a arts and craft teacher likewise a home economics teacher etc

These subjects are so important that it could help 'them' learn something really useful which could possibly define the path of profession they choose to thread in the future.

The 'class-teacher-should-know-it-all' syndrome should stop - where a class teacher is expected to know it all and teach all subjects,it's bad and not improving our educational standard.

There is a common saying that 'garbage in,garbage out',which simply means that when you get or disseminate wrong information to the pupils, you end up teaching them 'the junks' you get and the unknowing kids learn wrongly and spread wrong information taught them - why?!

The answer is simple and the solution is to maintain a happy, peaceful and conducive learning environment.

I kept saying that the school should be seen 'half-way' like a spiritual territory because the school modifies the life of the pupils in a way that if they were treated as patients that needs care and love, the message will be properly passed to teachers' and school managements.

The emotion around a school community births a certain euphoria which necessarily have to be kept at balance.

An unhappy teacher can not produce a healthy and happy pupil.

The welfarism of teachers with respect to their rights by employment is a great motivation to get it right in our schools.

Promotions, salary and bonuses should come promptly and as at when due and the job gets easy to be done.

the school speaks to the kids' inner person through the subjects taught and modifies their character for the better.

The stigmatization of teachers by the society can only be lifted by the government - this should be looked into too with respect to joyful hands that could be ready to take up teaching.

Back in the days most schools have councillors, who studies our pupils and counsel them - where are they??!

KWSUBEB staffs and teachers around the nation should be seen as nation builders and treated accordingly for the greatness and improvement of education and production of pupils with sound mind and great energy to uplift themselves y the society for good.
